From 35 × 25 mm up to 5000 × 4000 mm available to match specimen size and test scope. 4096 × 3000 px (12 MP) with 25 fps at full resolution for high resolution analysis.ZEISS Correlate
The ZEISS CORRELATE software offers the entire workflow from measurement data acquisition to analysis and reporting. It combines the synchronized image and analog data acquisition of the ARAMIS sensors with the evaluation functionality of the ZEISS INSPECT software. What can you evaluate?
- 3D coordinates
- 3D displacements
- 3D deformations
- 3D speeds and accelerations
- Surface expansions
- Material properties for the simulation (young's modulus, etc.)
- Evaluations of 6 degrees of freedom (6DoF)
What is ARAMIS 3D Camera?
ARAMIS is an optical 3D measuring solution for test and validation environments. Using digital image correlation and point tracking, it captures accurate 3D coordinates over time and derives results such as displacement and strain — without contact. Because ARAMIS measures across the whole surface, it helps you identify unexpected hot-spots, review results after the test, and place evaluation points wherever you need them.
Typical Applications
- Material characterisation (tensile, compression, shear, 3-point bending)
- Component and sub-assembly testing (stiffness, buckling, load cases)
- Test validation and correlation against FE simulations
- Large structures where non-contact measurement simplifies instrumentation

ARAMIS Controller
The perfect companion to link the sensor, software and testing machine or bench. Recording up to 8-external channels, triggering image acquisition, synchronizing channels, controlling the lighting, triggering external devices or time synchronization to the millisecond, the ARAMIS Controller compliments the ARAMIS 3D camera.Light management for correlation quality
Optical measurements depend on illumination, contrast and stable grey-value distribution. ARAMIS supports controlled light management to improve data quality, reduce exposure times and support higher acquisition rates when needed. Blue Light Technology (where configured) can help maintain stable results under varying ambient conditions.
Illumination options (examples):
- Light Projector (with polarisation options)
- Tracking Spots (directional light for point markers)
- LED Panel (uniform surface illumination)
Industrial-ready sensor design
Designed for reliable test lab use, ARAMIS 3D Camera supports efficient changeovers between tasks with defined measuring volumes and measurement lens options.
Highlights include:
- Robust system design for industrial environments
- Efficient task changeover using measurement lenses / configurations
- Assisted positioning (e.g., laser pointer support)
- Multi-sensor workflows where required to align local measurements in a common coordinate system
